A tender to operate Sao Goncalo do Amarante airport in Brazil's Rio Grande do Norte state is expected to be launched in the first two weeks of November.
The concessionaire will invest an estimated BRL600 million (USD314 million) to complete construction under one of the first airport concession agreements in Brazil. The concession is for a 25-year period, extendable for another 25 years. It is said to have attracted at least four bids: two from foreign companies and two from Brazilian interests.
