Aquatrack is an advanced and unique amphibious vehicle, designed for operation in the most demanding conditions. On land, at sea, on mudflats, paddy-fields, soft sand or frozen wastes, the most arduous and difficult terrain, Aquatrack safely moves five tonnes of stores/equipment or a complete platoon of Marines. At sea, Aquatrack's powerful engine drives twin propellers, enabling the vehicle to operate fully laden in Sea State 3 at speeds of up to 10 km/h. Twin rudders and propellers in Kort Nozzles ensure manoeuvrability and above all safety, in severe sea conditions. Advanced hull design incorporating five separate watertight compartments, low centre of gravity and track positioning ensure high dynamic stability, essential for any of the tasks Aquatrack is designed to perform.On land, Aquatrack's unique versatility and ability to operate effectively fully laden on almost any type of terrain, is confirmed. On highways, rough roads or cross-country, Aquatrack's powerful engine, transmission and advanced proven suspension system respond to the task, taking vertical obstacles of half a metre in its stride, crossing trenches 2 m wide and powering up 60 per cent gradients.Aquatrack is simple to operate and maintain. Cost of ownership is low and life cycle costs are small, reflecting the simple logic of its advanced design. Aquatrack utilises high-technology, but remains uncomplicated.While being technically advanced, Aquatrack is very user-friendly, with many features and capabilities. The operator will not need to have a specialist technical background nor spend long and valuable time in training.
