Privatisation/IPOs - Atlas to issue equity, AIR


Wetlease cargo carrier Atlas Air plans to sell about 3m primary shares of common stock under its current shelf registration. Proceeds of the offering will be used to prepay debt and for general corporate purposes.


Michael Chowdry, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Atlas, along with certain other senior executives, will sell around 2.2m additional shares. Morgan Stanley is bookrunner for the offering.
